Microsoft HoloLens

I joined Microsoft in 2015 working with a small group of artists and programmers pioneering the launch of the HoloLens, Microsoft's augmented reality headset. I worked on numerious prototypes and pitches to comercial partners, the bulk of these projects being part of "Microsoft VisionLabs". As a technical artist I designed working prototypes inside Unity. Responsible for interation design, asset creation & optimization, rigging, shaders, animation, more. Commercial partners include: Volkswagen, JAL, Saab, Stryker, Medtronic, Bluescope, DEWA, Boeing, ThyssenKrupp, and more.
Microsoft VisionLabs were 2-4 week rapid prototypes where Microsoft created and pitched HoloLens apps to various commercial partners. The clients would be on-site at Microsoft helping out with the brainstorming and app creation. VisionLabs were successful at solving real industry problems, leading to several extended partnerships.
